Collecting Shells On A Hot Day

$350.00

Thick Edge Stretched Canvas

L 40.5cm X H 50.5cm X W 3.5cm

In my artwork i portray using Aboriginal symbolism; people collecting shells on a hot day. The background and outline colours are reflecting a hot day as you feel the warmth, taking in the humidity, the hot soft sand under your feet, the sun rays reflecting off the water and shiny shells.

The shells are a connection to my home as a Saltwater traditional landowner, the beaches I walk and the shells I collect as I inhale the fresh salty air and feel a sense of connectedness and home.
