Jingy Walla (Hello) My name is Tamay Beam and I identify myself as an Aboriginal Minjungbal woman from Booningbah, Fingal NSW of the Bundjalung Nation; Saltwater Coastal traditional landowners.

I am a multidisciplinary, Contemporary Aboriginal artist and have been practicing various art forms for over 10 years, both on a progressional and personal scale. ‘Tamay Beam Art’ has featured artwork and products available in several galleries and stores across NSW, QLD and VIC.

I remember financing one of her first original paintings in 1995, so she could buy paint and brushes to continue her passion for painting ❤️ It was around the same time I taught her to drive …….   • Tamay was recommended to me by a work colleague. Tamay was so wonderful to work with. I sent an email about coming out to the childcare service I work at to do some cultural awareness with the children for Harmony day. We spoke about what would be best for the service and decided to do a whole service collaborative piece. Tamay provided all the resources for it and worked with the children and educators when doing to art piece. Once everyone had completed it, she took it away and made it all connect together.
